I was just wondering, my car cant possibly get towed for taking up 2 spots can it? And also wouldn't that **** people off and make them scratch your car on purpose?

I simply cant find a way to avoid this parking issue. I mean I would never ever scratch someones car or do anything like that, but there are tons of people who will love to do it.

Only realistic remedy is to buy a pos beater you don't care about, if its gets dinged scratched etc...

i dont know about towed. ticketed for sure, everytime. people will be trashy and do something to your car if its double parked or douchily parked in any way.
i try to watch my car, literally today i had to sprint over to my car when a guy in a dented rusted 80s ford pickup with no paint parked between me and a range rover in an empty lot. I mean empty, it was a tennis club. so i ran up to my car before he could open is door and said, almost yelling, at his open window, "dude did you have to park that beast so close to my nice car that thing would kill my car, its gnarly. i just dont want a ding in my new car." he preceeded to squeeze out of his truck not being able to open the door half way with me watching. i immediately moved, but WTH ther was a total of 4 cars in this 60 car lot b4 this truck pulled in the only spot with cars on both sides.
so yeah i watch my car when eating in the same lot. when leaving it at a mall or something i park in the boonies in a corner spot, or on a residential steet generally near other nice cars, its key. honda and toyo econoboxs are a no no to park near, and obviously work trucks.

Luckily this happened in a rental car, and not my Z. I had parked on a street in Chicago, where free street parking seems more prized than in any other city. I had left only a couple inches between my front bumper and the car in front, as there was a fire hydrant a car length behind me. Come morning, when I go to leave, a Cobalt had parked with his bumper touching my 2011 Taurus rental. I noticed that the car had already received a parking ticket, so I threw the rental in reverse, pushed the a-hole in front of the hydrant, and left pretty satisfied with myself.

from the experince i have had with my car i found the best places to park are corner spots and blending in with the crowd. I'm not talking about parking in prime right in front of the door corner spot but a little more forward then the back spots so you don't get that person who notices your car because it's the only one parked out in the boonies

I would have said, No it's not just a car, It's my car... and I guess if a car runs over your kid, then I take it, "It's just a kid"....

I always park way out from the store...more safe distance and exercise at same time, but again, not always safe as we all know. It's happened to me also, car will park next to me with all the empty spots between me and the store, but lucky no scratches, etc.

When I used to live in an apt. I had nothing but freakin problems with this. One weekend I went out of town with some friends and came home to a 3ft long 2in deep gash in the side of my truck bed. Turned it into the police but that was a waste of time. Then 2 weeks later a couple of drunk guys came in late from the bars and just so happened I was up to hear them get out of the car and hit the side of my car with the door but they were cool about it and paid for the repairs. Luckly I didn't live there long after I bought the Z and moved where I had a garage.

Your damned if you do.. Your damned if you don't. I had my Z foe 7 days. I parked out far at the store.. Shopping cart DESTROYED my front fender. When ever possible I park next to a curb. It cuts my door ding chance in half.. Even better than that is to park next to a curb on the passenger side not everyone has a passenger. I would say about 50% is only the driver so now your at 75% of no ding.

I wonder if there is a website were people with $hity cars find the nice cars parked out in BFE and park next to it.. Then snap a picture.
" Hahaha I would have loved to see the face on the owner of that Porsche when they saw your rusty red 1992 ford escort wagon parked next to it."

If I see any kind of nice car parked way out (Z's, subi's, evo's, nice euro's, etc) I'll usually park my Z next to them. Mainly for the sake of knowing, hey, they don't want some idiot that doesn't care parking next to them. A few times I've walked out of my building and the other 2 guys with Z's are parked right next to mine. I actually appreciate it since I know they're serious car guys too and will be extra careful with door dings and stuff.

I usually park way out next to a curb...50% less chance of a door ding, but if I find another nice car next to me, doesn't bother me too much. I see it as a 0% chance of a door ding. Be a wingman to your fellow Z owner!! haha

At least one everyday. Never the same one. I'm lucky this one parked behind me rather then next to me, and we have those orange blocker things between us.

i just carry a valve stem remover in my car, remove valve stem caps, unscrew valve stem and keep em, the tires deflate in about a minute tops, put caps back on .

I know the corner spot is usually the best if it were next to a wall, but on your p/side it is a lane for people to drive in. You should have parked more in the corner of the lot and then if someone parks next or in front of you then those people have that issue where people must flock together in a secluded place. Like the robots in I Robot movie.

Then the walk to my building becomes absurd. its so much further.this is very far away as it is. all the spots have the possibility for this kind of thing, im just chooing the lesser evil
