I have a 2003 350z touring model.My front windshield is cracked,looks as if it started underneath the trim passagner side.I am thinking stress crack but dealer thinks something hit it.Any one out there with a simular problem.

 

I am not usre what it looks like but I suspect it is not a stress fracture.

 

WS cracks real easy... if there's no rock chip or hit spot... could be a stress crack (if thats the case dealer may fix).

@ $250 for new windhield aftermarket....
@ $849 for Nissan windshield....

Look and act the same one just has a little nissan sticker.

 

go through your insurance. glass SHOULD be a zero-deductible and should not affect your premiums. thats what i did when my Z windsheild cracked
