Fuel Filler Door
OK, so I asked this earlier but I think I should start a new thread...
Does anyone else have a really bad weld around the area where the metal neck comes out of the car for filling with gas? It's the thing that the cap screws into. Where mine meets the car there is an awful weld. I mean really bad. I mean, I can weld better than that. Actually, I know a 12 year old that can weld better than that. It just looks awful. I'm just wondering if other people have this and it's just Nissan doesn't care about making things you don't normally see look good or is mine a screwup?

my weld is fine, but the door itself doesn't sit totally flush when it's closed. it's one of the only things that really bug me about the exterior of the car.

Hrm....mine is really nice and flush but that weld inside just looks downright awful. Maybe Nissan just doesn't take much time in dealing with it so some get bad welds, some get unflush doors, some get perfect, etc.
