What's your closest call with the law in your Z?
So I personally have had a close call or two and want to see what others have experienced in their Z's. Besides, I love to hear others stories 
One of my close calls was in Destin, FL on vacation. Guy in a WRX STi kept messing with me so we got on a long stretch between Destin and Ft. Walton. I gassed my car for a second or so to mess with him and he took off with me. I had a bad gut feeling so I let off pretty quickly. About 5 seconds later hes up to about 80-90 mph or so and a blacked out 2010 Hemi Charger comes out of the median sideways and flies by me. I thought I was going to jail on my last night of vacation but he ended up nabbing the WRX
Needless to say I was thankful for letting off the gas lol.

As for me...I was pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving at 4am on my way home once. Ironically I've never been drunk in my life.

Yea I don't want stories on street racing but rather just stories of police messing with ya. I behave cause I know the car sticks out like a sore thumb and my car is for cruising atm. I have yet to race it on the streets or the track. But I have had some eye me once or twice haha. My vacation was one of those instances.

About a year ago in my Altima I had just gotten done telling my friend how I should drive more safely to avoid tickets (too much speeding) because I wanted my insurance to continue to go down. Not even before I'm done talking an older Infiniti pulls up to race and took off. I gunned it, as I was about to pass him I looked at my friend and said "screw it" and hit the brakes. The Infiniti didn't give up and flew past me going about 90 and I was about 15 over in a 55.
After going over a hill a cop was in a cut out and turned his high beams on and rode my *** for a mile. Then he put his cop lights on got in a lane over and pulled the Infiniti over. I was so mad at myself for being so stupid right after I said I shouldn't be. Thank god I left off the gas or I might have gotten an "Intent to Kill" 90+ in the state of VA.

Never a moving violation but just had this close call. Was following some friends for a night out. Got stuck at red light right turn. Made the stop then bolted right little did I know a cop was on the road and saw it all. I just gave it some quick juice to catch up. He asked where I was going in such a hurry and told him. Headed to the club for a friends bday and he was cool about it. Let me roll out.

There's a right turn in my town that gets so much traffic its perfectly smooth, so i take advantage so tweak the *** out a bit here and there. One day I got dead sideways on it, the big smile on my face disappeared when i saw a trooper 40ft away hidden in a restaurant's parking lot lol. I don't know if he glanced away at the perfect timing or what but when i looked at him he stared at me the whole way by haha. I took the next right and booked it for home just in case lol

Had one of them days last week and ended up behind someone doing 20mph under in town, WTF! We make our left and I shoot around him and get up to speed. Out of the corner I see a cop, I glance at my speed and it's hitting 65, I'm in a 45 zone. I back off expecting to see the blue light special... Nothing, must of been doing paper work or rubbin one out.

About two months ago I got pulled over by one of those black chargers, here's the funny part - he was in front of me and pulled over on to the shoulder, turned his christmas lights on and waited for me to pass by. At that point I figured he wanted to say hi so I pulled over gave him my liscence, registration and proof of insurance. He told me I was going eight miles over the speed limit ( true statement ) gave me my documents back and told me to stick to the speed limit and he let me go on my way.
So far no zed related speeding tickets.

Been let go with "warnings" for 15-18 mph over a few times on my way home from work. (80-83 in a 65)

The other day I was in on the highway and there was a straightaway that had a hill at the end and I wanted to see how it would do at speeds of over 100 but I decided not to push it because I bet there's a cop on the other side of the hill waiting to trap someone. Sure enough, there he was on the other side of the hill. I was going like 78 in a 75 so I was good, but on the next straightaway I said F it, and punched it. I got up to 112 before I had to slow down because the cars in front of me were going too slow and I couldn't get in the other lane because of semi's. It felt smooth though, I'm sure my Z could go 145 without shaking or having any problem

I was heading home one very early morning, after work, and I wanted to get home....I take a major highway home daily.
I'm doing around 65ish and I see up ahead a state police vehicles parked on the side of the road, facing me and I can see the reflection of the speed gun. I'm a good distance away so I figured...meh...why not, there was not a soul on the road that night.
I down shift to 4th, floor it and pass the car doing around 90ish...I see the cars lights turn on and the car comes out flying like its azz is on fire.
I pulled over and put my flashers and interior lights on...he pulled behind me, turned off his lights walked up and we had a good laugh...one of my good buddies...
