Default Parking your Z in the streets

Any of you guys park your Z in the streets while you're at home? What are some things to consider in this respect?

I didn't even have to park in the streets! My wife's car got hit by someone on a bike cutting the corner through our driveway. Didn't get to see the guy but damn left a nasty mark, was pissed. I live in a very nice part of Orange County too, no one has any respect that's for sure.

If you daily drive it, avoid the street at all costs.

If you barely drive it, rent a garage at public storage and have someone drop you off when you want to drive it.

If you have to park your car in the street, you shouldn't be paying for a Z. Get a home or a rental with a garage.

If you park on the street you may end up getting dollar bills left on your Z!

I've parked my Z on the street for the past year and half (no driveway). Never had anything happen to it. And then I take it to my girlfriend's house for one night and come out to see somebody pulled a hit and run while we were asleep. So i guess results may vary depending on the location.

hell no! my truck was parked on the street for two years and was T-boned twice! hit and runs of course. a 350z drifted into the bedside and did 4k worth of damage to my parked truck. it got keyed light to light because i parked next to a nice lexus that got a message keyed into their doors, my truck was just a follow thru stroke i guess.
i cant tell you how many people would try to penetrate their bumpers with my tow hook while parking. mirrors broken and folded back and forth all day. beer cans thrown in the bed on the hood. i guess living in the college party town of santa barbara didnt help but people have no respect.
the truck can take it but the z would be dead right now.

I don't even leave it in my driveway, at least not overnight. Daily driver by day, garage queen by night.

I wish I had a garage because sometimes I have to park in the street because the back parking lot sometimes is full. Trying to get my landlord to get a carport to park under before winter hits. If I can get one I'll just leave my car under it with a car cover over it until weather clears up (I can drive my grandmas car that she doesnt drive because she doesn't live here anymore). But yes, everyday I wish I had a garage because I HATE parking on the streets especially in a college town where there's so much drunk driving happening
