Talking Divorced my Z BUT I married her sister!!

Oh well it was fun while it lasted. Yesterday I traded in my Z....I miss the power a little but I will have to deal with it. Her sister isn't all that bad.

Her sister is a 2004 G35 Coupe DG 6MT, Premium, Aero....no Nav. My GT3's fit but are kinda close to the Brembos. I actually had a tear in my eye yesterday. Until the 70 mile drive back home. The honeymoon doesn't start till this darn Snow goes away. East Coast winters...what can you say. Will post other pics later...bad weather out.

Not too bad, but not quite a Z. Two thoughts that are just my personal opinion. The G35C looks best in black with the aero package and should have left the stock rims on, they're pretty nice I thought.

Yeah, I would say more like a cousin than a sister.

first of all, you need to relax man.....really relax. second of all, if i offended you than i apologize. and who saying that one is better than the other? did i say the G35 is better than the Z or the Z is better than the G35? NO, they are just both very similar cars in relation as i'm saying Nicky* and Paris Hilton is in relation. JRREED is saying he left a sister for a sister. I'm just using the Hilton sisters as a scenario. if it makes you happier than ok....."its like you divorced Paris for Nicky Hilton." happy? does this make your world go round now?

Lookin' Good. Welcome to the "G" fold. I dissagree with BFG10, wheels look better than stock, even if they are 19s. Good Luck with her. The DG was a good choice.

To the original poster, I did the exact same thing. Traded in my Z for a G 6MT. I don't miss the Z at all actually. Too many compromises (the one that really irked me being the lack of a factory option sunroof). With my Blizzaks, the thing is ready for all four seasons!

Invest 60-70 bucks in the Z-tube and you will get those 7 crank ponies right back. No biggie. I'm sure you are already appreciating the interior compared to what the Z had to offer. Wait till you get done with the break-in, you'll be having fun all the same. Congrats!

Thanks for all the comments guys...except for the Hilton fight that broke out. I already appreciating the softer ride. Got up to 5k RPM once by mistake. Can't wait to really let her loose. Themyst: What's a z-tube? Ang yes the willow Leather is very nice, and suprisingly the Bose systen in the GC isn't bad either. I traded in my Infiniti Kappa's too...destoyed the factories putting them in. The only thing I'm doing to this car is tinting the windows.

I'll still be arond the forum...will take more pic when the bad weather breaks.

Mr. Reed

A "Z" tube is a replacement for the "G" resonator, heat, and intake tube that runs from the Airbox assembly to the plenum. A lot of "G" owners, myself included, replace this piece, with the curved tube from the "Z". The "Z" intake tube has no appendages on it like the "G", and is believed to flow better, and make up part of the 7 horsepower we lose to the "Z". It's a perfect fit on the "G".

I have also included a drop-in K&N filter and a Crawford plenum for my intake mods.

I believe the "Z" tube is a worthwhile mode, you can hear it and feel it.
