Finally, got a date! It will be picked up tomorrow and delivered the next day! So pumped...I will post pics of it when i get it. Want to take some shots of it coming off the truck as if it where a new car, hahaha.

20 mpg city on the build sheet; that's pretty funny. I remember seeing that number when I bought mine, thinking "Nice!" Been averaging 14.2 mpg ever since.

Lulz yea... don't expect that 20+ mpg to stay if you do mostly local driving. I only avg like 17.5-18mpg pure local.

Man o man...I really just can't get enuff of driving it. Almost a 1/2 tank in a day lol!! Yea once i get into my normal back and forth to work my mpg will go way up as I drive about 90% highway to and from work. Probably won't see it though till that new wears off.

I want to order parts so bad!!!! Looked at CAI and springs. Who knows when I'll actually go through with the buy it now button lol!

Lol I think this car's highway mpg is pretty good. It's something with local driving -_-. I take local cuz I like shifting around but that's the mpg downside.

My suggestion is get some spacers 1st + springs.

 

Spacers huh... Never thought of those as a first bolt on. What's the best size to get in these? Thanks for the tip

I'm personally not that into performance, but if you're into some cheap visual mods to start out, spacers are ~150-200 for a set of 4.

 

Those are nice. Will look into. I'm very much into performance. But im not worrying about deep performance parts, like internals or FI. I'm just gonna enjoy bolt on and a lot on visual.

 

I just bought an '08 Base with 25k miles on it for $17k even from a private seller August 1st 2011 (year specified for when thread gets old). I think it was a great purchase though keep in mind that was a motivated seller and I traveled from Wisconsin to Michigan to buy the car. I love the car and loved the drive.
