Having a manual with stage 4 drag clutch, I tell everyone they won't be able to drive it. I'd been driving manual since I was thirteen. And I pretty much had to relearn all over again. My first venture into the new clutch left "I've made a huge mistake" pinging through my head. Considering most of my friends can't evn drive a manual to begin with, I say "sure, of you can turn it on".

Ive gotten most of these questions some girl pissed me off once with this:
"Fix your car, sounds like your muffler is broken"- test pipes+HKS rep not even that loud
other people
"why didnt you get a 370z?" i reply "cuz that was 15 grand more when i bought this one" then they say "shouldve got the 370z" pissed me off like assh0le this is what i can afford.
got that asked this lke 2 or 3 times with the same exact dialogue.

also got asked if i have a v12 in it, ive been asked if its a 4 cylinder. ive been asked if if the engine is in the back and if it can hit 200 mph.

That's alright, depending on the mustang, we've either got the same or more HP, and get more to the gallon (exception of the newest models)

"You Drift it?"

Everybody must think if you own a Z or a 240sx...you automatically Drift....I personally would never abuse my DD like that....must be a purpose built car, gutted with no care of scrapping it IMO to drift

"How fast have you gone?"

"How fast does it go?"

"Why didn't they make a turbo option for it?"

"Oh wow, ONLY 287 hp stock?"

"Is it fast?"

Most common ones I've gotten over the years.

I have a 03 G35 Sedan and a guy at an inspection station tells me this:

Him: "What is that?"
Me: "Infiniti G35"
Him: "My brothers got the Maybach edition G35. Huge rims and everything. He payed like 50k for it."
Me: "Oh that's cool"

I died laughing after he left. Still mentions it to me when I see him.

Default Serious as a heart attack

I am sitting behind the wheel, opening a Mtn Dew I just purchased at a gas station when this older guy walks up behind the car, and says "nice car, it says 350."
before I can respond he then asks, "as in Chevy 350?"
Slightly confused myself, I can't find words, before I can chime in
he continues "Is it the same Chevy 350 they put in thier trucks?"

Even though I knew what he meant, my sarcasm switch was flipped instantly so I thought to myself when did Nissan start putting a Chevy 350 in thier trucks? I knew he wouldn't find it funny, so I kept it to myself.

In an attempt to end the converstion quickly, I just and say, "man I just bought it to pick up chicks, I'm not sure what it has in it". He looks at me confused and walks away.

I feel I came away with a victory.

I would have enjoyed it more, but he was a pretty old fart, so I decided to go with the more respectful response, even though it was a bit sarcastic too.

**Note, my wife was not in the car when this conversation took place.
