Not sure if this is the right forum...
Long time creeper (;D) new time member.
I lurked this site for ages on details about 350z, In May of 2011 (this year) I decided I would purchase a 350z for myself for my 20th birthday. So in June I drove down to Rochester, NY (I live in Canada). I purchased a 2003 350z and imported it back to Canada without any problems.
I loved the car. It was... exhilarating. The only word to describe.
On July 11th (a month after I got the car) I was turning left at an intersection where a large truck sped through a red light and tee-boned my car. I heard that I spun around a few times, went through a guardrail and ended up on a highway (freeway) off ramp.
I lost consciousness for a few moment but then I realized what happened so I proceeded to try to get out of the vehicle, my doors were pinned shut. I don't remember how but I managed to get out where according to an older woman witness, I fell straight to the ground.
I was transported via ambulance to the hospital where I stayed over night and was found to have a few fractured ribs, sprained neck from severe whiplash, sprained arm and some bruises and lacerations.
Since then I have been attending physio and the usual medical non sense that accompanies car wrecks.
The other driver was charged. My car was a write-off.
Now, almost three months later I am back on the search of a new 350z and decided that I should pay homage to the site that helped me learn so much, and sign up.
So here I am. I look forward to talking with all of you and learning, and possibly teaching others along the way.
I now leave you with some pictures of my beauty.

I was expecting your car to be a lot worse after reading your story.
But damn, sounds like you got pooped on.
Good thing you're alright now.
Have fun car shopping.
I've noticed some great deals in the classifieds the past few months.

Glad to hear you are okay!
But you are dam lucky the other driver got charged...usually anyone making a left is at fault. They would call it an unsafe left turn because you "should have seen the vehicle not stopping" ... and in no way am I ragging on you. Its just what I have had happen in personal experience. And in school when studying the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.
Good luck finding a new 350!

Glad to hear you are alive, that looks like a nasty accident.
I would take my new found money and buy me a 370Z or maybe a GTR. I assume the truck driver/insurance sent some kind of settlement your way? If not lawyer up and make sure you get them to compensate you because your body will never be the same after that kind of hit.
EDIT: Just saw post 14, 20K isn’t really enough to cover the pain that sticks around the rest of your life on those cold days.
