Jason, I just finished reading your story about the car. I had originally ordered a Daytona Blue Track and then later under changed to a Lemans Touring (which i sold my prespot to a friend of a friend for a nice profit) and believe you me, I regret not staying with the Blue and getting it.

My color of choice is now a Redline Track which I will be ordering soon, but I am waiting to confirm some insider info I have heard regarding next year's Z's. I want to see if Nissan is in fact bringing the TT to the showrooms being that they've been testing extensively in Japan.

Great car though, congrats! I do so envy that drive and I laughed when I read what NAV did for ya. I was 90% sure I wanted NAV in my Redline, now I am 100%

Disposable nose mask?

I can't believe you just "threw" away your nose mask. Aren't those going for around $100.00? Post 'em here - I'll take a used nose mask off your hands - I'll even pay you something for it rather than see you toss it!

By the way - anyone really recommend getting/using a nose mask instead of paying the extra $$$ for the 3M clear bras being talked up?

Even if the 3M stuff cost 10 times more than a nose mask i'd get the 3M cause whenever I see one of those nose masks on a car it makes me wanna throw up. Very ugly looking.

Nose mask ugly? To each his own I guess. Think I'll get one even if I do decide to get the 3M later. Especially since I already have a small rock chip on the plastic facing underneath the grill (DAMN Houston freeways!). Ordering some touch up also...looks like I'll be needing it here in Southeast Texas.

Actually, Courtesy Nissan does have the touch up "pens" in silverstone - has clear coat on one end and silverstone paint in other end. Not nearly as much paint as in the touch up bottle but it'll hold me for a bit.

Ordered yesterday and they had it in stock.
