that's an interesting ad. why would they go after 350z. it's like oh man i was cross-shopping these two cars and NOW i'm definitely going with the forrester. jk, i get what they're doing--it's amazing that an suv could beat a full-blown sports car like the z--but it's also kind of unnecessary.

 

subaru makes some amazing cars. once they learn how to STYLE them, they will be a force to be reckoned with in the car industry.

 

They are not going after the 350z business with this ad. They are targeting the person who wants a fast car but has a family of five and a dog.

p.s. Style is very much an opinion. I prefer to stand out a little rather then to blend in with the mid-life crisis crowd the 350z attracts.

Anyone notice that the ad is blatantly false? I'd like to see the Forester do 0-60 in 5.3 with a family of five and a dog inside!

SUV type vehicles are much more useful with a torquey low end anyway, rather than top end speed.

I think the ad is more stupid than funny/ironic.

 

Wow, thats pretty fast, but you don't have to worry about the 350Z turning over.
