Arrow 350Z Upgrades--- Input greatly appreciated

Hello everyone,
I bought a 2003 350z Track last week and am extremely impressed with the over all performance. I have owned a 2006 BMW Z4M and just lost my 2005 Merc E55 AMG in September due to flood What I am trying to say is I am used to high end cars; I expected the Z to be a great car but it totally blew my mind.

I ride a motor cycle so did not rush into getting another car but since winter arrived I decided to get a fun daily driver and came across this car.

Parts Ordered:

Hawk HPS pads
EBC Ultimax Black Dash Sport Slotted Brake Rotors for Front and Back

JWT Clutch and Flywheel combo

Unorthodox Racing 350Z Pulley Set with Belts: Polished

Spec D Tuning JDM Headlights

First I was told by Horsepower freaks that I should be able to transfer the ballast to the new Head Light Assembly...Correct?

Secondly I was thinking about:
DC Sports Headers
Kinetix HFC
Kinetix Racing 350Z Velocity Manifold (any other suggestions)

I was thinking about straight pipes after the HFC's; would that be too crazy

Thirdly I was thinking about 20 inch Rims; now the track comes with light weight 18's. Am I losing performance going with 20's

I appreciate your input.

Thanks in advance,

Forgot that I also have a Fujita Short Ram Air Intake. I am also interested in Uprev tune after all the mods. Any feed back on Uprev will also be appreciated. The car is black so I also got Black tints today as well.

I'd send the headlights back and get 06+ OEM headlights.
The 20s will drastically impact your performance.

If it were me i'd save all the money spent on the N/A mods and go with a turbo kit.

Appreciate the input; what NA mods would you recommend?

Sounds good. If you end up getting new rims i may be interested in buying the stock rims. Enjoy the car

Whats your overall plan on the performance end?Whats your budget?
With all the stuff listed,I think you will be disapointed on the overall HP increase
results.Instead of piece -mealing together alot of components,I'd go for a single turbo setup.Momentum is a good one.Start there, add the needed exhaust parts.Running
straights may sound like a good idea until you get on the road for awhile not to mention problems from the law.The Z does not have the soundproofing compared to your Merc.
You will loose performance with the 20's.Again,whats the plan?Street or track?

I have some similar bolt on plus acouple extra. I have a 2003 350z
Performance mods only
K&N Typhoon
Kinetix Upper manifold
Unorthodox pulleys
Kinetix HFC
Megan Header
Megan Y-pipe
Invidia N1 exhaust
Mishimoto Radiator
Uprev tune

I did my tune at xact dyno in tempe az
on a sort of a hotter day like 100 degrees
Prior to the tune
239.1 Hp 6480 rpm 203.1 tq 3950 rpm pretty bad on torque
after the tune
269.9 hp 6166 rpm 255.5 tq 3850 rpm
30 hp increase and 52 on the torque never realized I was that lean.
Ifigured I was some but it is like night and day response is great on the car. I am sure on a cooler day like it is now I am over 275 wheel hp pretty good on an 03 z with out a super or turbo charger
I was pretty much told I had the the best increase of torque he had seen with similar mods.

If you plan on going turbo or something then this mod really wont help you that much, but if you are just looking to do bolt ons it a great program.

Nice pickup sir, but we need some pitchas.

With the Z's, N/A numbers are hard to increase unless you do internal work, ie raising compression. And if you do internal work you may as well go F/I. I know a few guys that have full bolt ons minus cams and a tune and arent even at 300hp. The Z is plenty fast enough stock for most, but if you wanna go even faster, just grab an exhaust, plenum spacer, intake, and a tune, and perhaps some gears and you'll be set considering its your daily driver.

And in reference to your rims, you'll DEFINITELY feel a difference between your LIGHTWEIGHT 18's, and AFTERMARKET 20s. I'm not sure of many 20s that are lightweight....so it'll be added weight, not to mention the jump in tire prices.

oh, and pictures!!

IMHO.... 20's are too big for the Z33 fuctionally. Thats just me tho.

Me..... I'd ditch the idea for the kinetix manifold upgrade and just go with a spacer.

+1 on the uprev tune, the HFC's, and pulley.
the Headers.... be prepared to loose HP, but you'll definately pick up 1st/2nd/3rd gear torque.
+1 on your brake pad ideas.
I would put some thought into suspension.

this is all in an N/A sense tho.

Appreciate your input, Well the budget so far was 5K and 2K has been spent on the parts I mentioned; so I have 3K left. I want to keep the Z NA. Make it more fun then the Z4M I had. Man the E55 AMG was something I had 550TQ at my command at only 2.2RPM RIP

Please, no 20's and no changing headlights unless it is 06+ factory HID's and also no to the headers unless it is a nismo ones.. Best performance NA mods IMHO would be test pipes+MREV2+5/16 spacer+loose weight!

Sir these are some impressive mods and I believe that in weather like this it will produce more power. Your Kinetix is it the racing version? I bet the car accelerates / revs much more effortlessly now.

I will look into Nismo headers; excuse my ignorance but test pipe means loosing CATS right? I will look into the spacers as well. Loose weight hmm I guess I can start with meself Where should I start?

I did not realize that I will lose HP with Headers, ConceptZPerformance claims 12HP to the wheels wth DC Headers
http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...696.231.59.194

Another 5 to 8 HP with Kinetix HFC
http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...696.231.59.194

So the Spacer is better then the Kinetix Racing Manifold which recovers 30WHP at high RPM ?

http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...696.231.59.194

For UPREV should I take it to a shop of deal with them Directly??
