***** and giggles lol. nah number one was a hand built car or something it was not a production car so they couldent sell it or something so it was crushed. if i was nissan it would be on display somewhere

I have the lowest VIN on the forum that I know of, and I doubt I would get a premium for the car if I sold it.

FYI - the first 350Z shown in the US was a drop top. And it had no VIN plate as it was never going to be titled or registered to drive on public roads. Those cars are generally crushed after the intro tour. Some members of our club saw it at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in '02.

Yes, we should be clear and say that the Barrett auction is for the first production Z, not the first Z ever built.
