Default Looking at an 08 Z

Hey, noob here. I currently have a 04 Infiniti G35 coupe. Looking to trade in and I've found a nice 08 350Z touring....

Any opinions on that year car? I took it for a ride and liked it very much.

I have a black metallic 350z Touring with less than 38,000 miles. Awesome car , No problems whatsoever. Do what you want.

08 is a good year. Clutch slave cylinder issue was fixed form the 07, you get nicer interior and headlights/tals, and the superior HR motor vs. older cars. I love my 08 HR!

Hey guys, thanks...It's the Touring, and Metallic Silver. The downside its an automatic though. I think I like it better than my G35.

2008 is good. I am sure you will appreciate the bump in horsepower.

If you say this.... you will be unhappy at some point. I would look around for a manual, drive it, then compare between the two.

my 2 cents

I have had my slave cylinder replaced twice on my '08 and my window motor twice as well.

Consumer Reports/searching this forum will help.

I would if I were you.

If you already have doubts about the automatic, I suggest you search more and get a 6mt touring or grand touring. It'll be more on par "luxury wise" with a G but way sportier. It'll be a nice transition

I have an '08 Base in my opinion anything higher than base is a waste of money as I plan to mod. So LSD, Seats, Stereo all going after market, if I mod the car rather than sell it.

Honestly if my car would be an auto I would feel like a big p*ssy. From a technical perspective though I think autos really don't have any disadvantage.

I went from an '04 G to an '08 Z. Never looked back man, HR wins.
