Make sure to put in stabil (I believe that's what its called). It is a fuel stabilizer, so that when you start your engine in a year the fuel will not deteriorate.

Disconnect battery, take wheels off and put car on jacks or find some cheap steel rims and put them on. Tires will have a large flat spot after a year if you leave them on. Put a few extra quarts of oil in to help prevent corrosion in the engine. Protect the paint with a high quality car cover.

Right before you put it up. Make sure you go get a full service oil change. Have them grease all the fittings. When its parked put two extra quarts of oil, remmeber to drain excess oil when you get back. Battery disconnected. Try to make sure its stored in a rat free environment. They can reek havock on your interior. You dont have to take the wheels off but do put the car up on jack stands. All this if somebody cant drive the car once a weeka round the block. Supreme unleaded with stabilizer. Have fun.

for a whole year?
if i were you...i will sell the car and buy another one after a year.
for a whole year...it's a waste of money if your not gonna drive it.
just letting it sit, u'll have to pay for the car still.
sell it...buy another one after a year. i'm pretty sure u can get a decent amount if you sell the Z.

DO NOT put Stabil in your gas tank!!!!!!
It is made for 2 cycle and older (non- Fuel Injected) engines. With a closed fuel system, fill the tank and add one can of dry gas, in case any condensation should occur.
Notice that there are NO additives recommended by Nissan for your fuel system.

Thanks everyone...I just found out that my car will only sit in between car shows. I have sponsorship comments that i need to stand by. So, Do i need to have it on jackstands between shows? In may it's going on the fast and furious music tour.

If its going to sit for more than a couple of weeks yes. The tires will still form flat spots if it sits for an extended period of time.
