Question about NISMO being in a flood/salvage title???
I'm looking into a 2007 NISMO where I look into its VIN# found out it was into a flood I already drove the car, even check the bottom of it before I even knew it was preciously into a flood, so what else should I look into it and will it be worth it considering I will be keeping the car for a very long time, any suggestions will be appreciated and what else should I look into while either dealing with the dealer who is selling it or financing? thanks guys

Walk away.
I would expect a lifetime of electrical problems for you. You don't know the interior condition of the axle, tranny, fuel tank, power steering. etc. that was exposed to water. And it could have been salt water. :P

thanks for the input cause I did look into the bottom of the car before I knew it was under a flood and didnt notice anything else, salt water should have been more evident unless they watch it really good

did some research from the dealer and as far as that, this car should have a clean title, as must of their car are on their lot problem here is the flood part cause you really dont know the extent of the damage so that along takes you away with it if it was another type of salvage as long as it aint a collision not bad thanks for the input

That's total BS - they bought the car at auction from an insurance company due to a total loss (flood) and they dont even disclose that or have to sell it with a salvage title?
What does carfax show?
That car isnt worth more than 8K realistically, and anybody who offers extended warranties probably wont touch that car. Since it is over 36 months I doubt you can get a Nissan extended warranty anyway.
