Default 350z Purchase Advice

Hey guys, I have been looking for a Z for a little while now. I've found one that I think is a great deal. Problem is that it has a ridiculous Fast & Furious wing on it. I've talked to the dealer and they said after I drive it and confirm that I'm going to buy it, that they will remove the spoiler and fill the holes. I would like to simply get the small lip spoiler that comes from the factory, or the small Blitz spoiler, they're both subtle yet still noticeable. Is the spoiler sold as just the spoiler, or as a whole hatch unit? It appears that the whole thing is one unit, but I could be wrong. Also, any comments not pertaining to the wing are welcome. I've been looking to get an HR and this is too good of a deal imo to let the spoiler ruin it.

Thanks, here's the link

I think its a good deal with the mileage and such.....I would ditch the spoiler too....
And spoilers are spoilers, whether they are made out of polyurethane or whatever you just buy the spoiler. Something also to keep in mind is that it will more than likely come primed in which case you will need to get it painted.....unless you find one from someone that matches up good....

I would have a mechanic check that car out, the miles are to low for the year of car it should be at around 60,000 miles by now of normal driving. Tell them to show you the CAR FAX.

Why don't you try going into a dealer that has the Nissan LOGO up front or if you have the money cash then look for something the looks and feels normal go with you instinct young jedi.

I'm confused. Why the sarcastic tone? I was simply asking a legitimate question. That is a great price for an '07 with that mileage. I have searched online on multiple occasions (every dealer posts online) and have yet to find a better bang for the buck.

Hey Kutzo, if you haven't figured it out yet, there are many personalites on this site, and most could care less about what you are inquiring about. The more you peruse this site, the more familiar you will be with the screen names/individuals that are actually informative and helpful. Choose wisely............and just ignore the idiots.........

Yea, definitely gotta ditch the spoiler. Though, all kidding aside, you should probably go for the manual. There are many people on here that have bought the automatic and are regretting the decision. If you don't see that happening to you though, go for it!

On a side note, better deals are out there. There was a guy selling an 07 with (if I remember correctly) around 50k on the clock for 13k in NY. He was trying to sell for a couple days and I guess he got impatient and lowered it a crazy amount.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Those seats look like they're cloth in the photos.

Then again, my vision is horrible.

Thanks. tbh, hate if you'd like, I have never driven a manual car. I know perfectly well how to, just have never done it. My family has never owned one. I'm sure there are better deals, but I searched online and chose within 100 miles and I want a good deal, but NY is a little far for me being from Chicago.

I'm not a guru by any means, but I was under the impression that Touring's had leather. I was curious about that.

I like to know who the previous owner is, and back hand chuck norris slap him because that is one ugly spoiler.

I can relate man. I was in pretty much the same situation as you when I bought my car. I basically learned off my 350z. It was a little frustrating at first, but when you get the hang of it, it becomes much more enjoyable. Though, on the flip side, there are many owners on here that have AT's and love them. I suppose it is a matter of preference. There are probably dozens of AT vs MT threads on here. It might be prudent for you to do a quick search and see their viewpoints. Good Luck bro!
