Default will the track model be a high theft target??

...since it has valuable parts (brembos and volks) that can basically be bolted onto any of the other 25,000+ non track model 350Z's?? something for current and potential track model owners to think about...

I think that just about any Z is going to be a high theft target. Of them, yes, the Track will probably be the most.

Somebody may want to steal my Touring Bose radio too....I hope.

naa. i think only the track and touring models (and maybe the performance model) have parts that are worth stealing. the rest of the models have nothing of "value" in the black market, unless you plan to ship the whole car out of the country...

I beg to differ. Given the modular nature of this car, it can be parted out VERY easily. Your low-rent street thugs may look at the wheels on the track as the only valuable thing, but a knowledgeable guy knows what he can do with the parts.

Why do you think the accord is the most stolen car in the country year after year? It's not for the stunningly good looking 15" wheels...

Um, the engine? The lights, airbag, seats, wheels....the list goes on and on.
