I just got rid of the game today because I could not get past 72 and I got huge headaches b/c the game moves to fast (whats the deal with the stupid reflective markers on the road ) Anyways, I cheated and got the 350z before I got rid of the game and was disappointed that basically any car can be modified to bet it. Oh ya... all the tracks are pieces of each other and there are not enough cars... boooo to ea games. nfs porsche unleased still wins.

 

The game is ok....It just pisses me off how they keep the cars too equally matched in modded form. I like how my modded Z is just as fast as a modded miata. BS The same thing as the mod packages. Why give a choice of brands if they all equate to the same gain?

Where is GT4? It's going to be hard to resist the "GT4 Prologue". I don't want to buy the game twice.

 

Just type the codes in the main screen there is no place in specific just the main screen right after you you choose your profile.

 

You have to go into statistics off the main menu and hit backspace to get back into the main menu, where you now enter the code to get whatever you want. You can't get level 3 parts or widebody kits and the codes do not apply to underground mode.

one thing to remember in the later rounds is to strip your card down to level 2 performance and drop the NAS.

The AI won't have it if you don't/

I also went down to weight 2 kit for the Z. This made it more stable and I did not wreck as much when I hit other cars or k-rails.

 

Race 104 and still climbing. Playin it on PS2 though. Racing games need to be played on a big screen!

 

anyone playing with a steering wheel or are you using PS2 controller? If you are, what is the best steering wheel? Does it really make a difference

easiest way to do it, is after you install the game, run the check for update link in your start menu (start- program files - EA games - NFSU - Check for update) and then dl the patch for version 1.3 from www.gamecopyworld.com you can run a search for it. If they dont have it, let me know and i will email it to you.

i have problems to update nfs, and the no-cd patches from gamecopyworld dont runs.... they ask me for disk 2 when i start program.

in addition, i have the spanish version and maybe that is the qestion.. will it runs an english no-cd in my spanish version??

i have the original game, but it's more comfortable and safetyly to use a no-cd

I'm going to try that since I'm on race 105/111. If that works it will be a lot easier but then it loses some of the fun.

 

i rocked the game without taking mods off. The very last race is so close its sick.

 

how come the stock Z in that game oversteers a lot at low speeds. But after 4th gear it understeers a lot. Does anyone else experience this?

 

This game's core is the visual mods. Gran Turismo was realistic in it's physics but you never got to see a car actually slammed or any kits and spoilers.

I'm kinda dissappointed that you can actually mod a Civic to be as fast and handle as well as a Supra. However, I get a kick out of adjusting the cars according to their real life figures for the two player mode. Unlocking everything then playing with your buddies on the big screen is really fun.

 

im worried because 350z is unreally tuned in the game. it is so slow and too much unstable

the mazda mx5 (miata) is the best tuned car, which is too unreal

and the tracks are all boring and too short
