I like the original shifter because it's functional and seems to fit so well with the rest of the interior.

But this is good too. Different. Would probably give more of a solid feel in the palm of your hand. What's the inscription on the top? The shift pattern?

On a related note:

Here's a link to a company that puts out a pretty wild line of shift *****. More appropriate to a different kind of car, but fun to look at nonetheless.

Volkswagon. On the Golf. j/k Actually, looks like the PT cruiser. Hate it. I'm ont sure what there is to improve over stock, IMO, as it's leather (not too hot or too cold) and shaped just right.

It's made by Razo. Gets very hot in summer, no biggie, cools down quick. It has a very heavy solid feel to it, thats what makes me like it so much. Sweaty palms....I'll have to get back to ya on that one! The look is very cool...because it is very shiney and clean looking. The word Razo is lasered into the top...no shift pattern...thanks for the input, keep them coming.

The best ball ***** I've ever seen are from team voodoo (see attached link). The heft of the **** made the shift action smoother on a previous car I owned. These ***** are threaded and do not rely on a set screw to hold them in place like many other *****.

Kinda reminds me of the Ferrari shifter. I would make the ring towards the bottom match the color of the shifter though.

No biggie.....you just need to have a right
-hand glove ready at all times. During summer, you can fry an egg on it.

The black rubber ring above the shift boot came with the Nismo shifter ****, its called a finishing ring.I left that on when I took the Nismo shifter off. Gives the chrome shifter set-up a 'finished' look!
