Default Has anyone shopped at raceinspired.com?

Hey, I apologize in advance if this is a repost but I've searched everywhere.

I've been looking for a set of Bilstein pss10's for sometime and came across this site that had super competitive pricing. I'm a little skeptical however because I've never heard of these guys before.

Has anyone ordered anything from them/heard anything?

I've searched on google but didn't really get anything.

Cheers,

Careful. This may be one of many retailers who stock nothing and ship from one of many wholesalers. Reason being that few if any retailers stock all parts for all vehicles. Inventory costs would be exorbitant.

Downside is availability, delivery date and excuses. This is what you may except:

Sorry but the pss10 is no longer available. But we can get you the PSS11 for only $100 more.

Yes we know it has been 90 days since your order but we have no control over when blank company ships.

Sorry you got the wrong parts. You will have to take it up with company blank.

Good luck.

As davidv commented, many of the online vendors are nothing more than a guy with a computer that has links to many wholesalers or master distributors. These mini vendors hope to make a profit by dealing in volume as a middle man.For Z stuff there are severa
STOCKING vendors(have most of the stuff they are advertising on their warehouse shelves). The Z STORE/MOTORSPORTS&Z-1 MOTORSPORTS fall in this category. It sure is good to be able to TALK with a human and ask them if they have a part in stock. They put you on hold for minute and physically check if the item is on the shelf.Just because it
shows "in stock" on their computer screen does not mean it is.
Not saying all these guys working out of their bedroom with a flash-bang website are
to be avoided.Hey,I'm sure thats how the companies I just mentioned started!
Just use common sense.Ask questions--when will you receive? Will you get a confirmation
on your e-mail etc?Buying items from a vendor listed on e-bay has alot of advantages.
They wil get kicked off e-bay if they get poor ratings and complaints.
All in all, saving a few bucks on a part that is probably available from a KNOWN vendor
at times may be risky.Or,you will sleep better knowing you are gonna get the part
as promised.
