Terrible packaging. Heavy items must be packed tightly so they do not shift in transit. Should be Double-wall corrugated board.

If it looked like that when u saw it, I would've opened it while ups was there and then refused. Would go back to shipper to save your shipping expense and they would've prob sent u one packaged a lot better/condition.

They should still take care of you though.

+1K to all of this!

Sorry to see your exhaust shipped this fawked up, and I hope the shipper sends you a new one. I really hate when manufacturers/distributers skimp on proper shipping materials just to save a buck.

I agree, in a case like this you can see it simply was not packaged correctly. but what troubles me is that you were also missing gaskets and bolts. Im just amazed they would send it out like that FAIL.

When I ship stuff I actually do a better job, I mean materials arent that much lol

^ Werd. But when you only pay $500 for an exhaust you can't expect much. Try to find a Greddy, HKS, Tanabe, Motordyne, etc exhaust shipped like that.

This!

My Motordyne exhaust was all cozy and snug in bubble wrap inside the box.

Even rolls of Charmin taped around the exhaust would have been better than that packing job.

Bubble wrap/double/triple wall box is great. But insta-pak foam is the best material (when used correctly). In my old job, I used the 'custom' insta-pak machine (cut to size plastic sheeting, and two 55 gallon drums of the product that mix together for the foam) for shipping heavy hydraulic/machine parts. Never had a problem and customers love how the packing forms to the shape of the parts.
