I ordered exhaust last week and this is what I got today from UPS.

yeah I was all excited and than I got that... from what I can tell, its missing a gasket and the one gasket is definitely not usable, also missing bolts.. and idk if the little dent in the one muffler really will matter or not.

 

I sold a Borla exhaust and this happened, the entire tip of the muffler ended up being flat, it took me about 1.5 months to get it resolved, but it did get resolved.

Did you order new from a company? Maybe they'll have you ship that one and give you a new one while they deal with UPS.

yeah I bought it new from a company, called them and emailed them pics. They said they were going to forward it to their department manager and see what he says.

I wonder who screwed it up? Maybe you have the same UPS driver that got caught throwing a flatscreen over the fence during the holiday season.

 

That sucks, did you miss the UPS guy when they first tried to drop the exhaust off or something?

I remember back in the day when I bought my HKS, I was sitting outside waiting for it to arrive. I even helped the UPS dude get it off the truck and he wanted to know why I was being so careful.

But the reason I ask is because the UPS guy basically told me... I'm glad you were here to recieve this today because otherwise I would have to unload it off the trunk myself and he more or less said the box and the contents inside would have been in terrible condition.

Must be a knock off. The packing on my old authentic HKS was so good even UPS couldn't *** it up.

yeah idk it was prob a mix of both, not good packing inside, and not caring from ups... but i was here when he came (first time) and he didnt touch the package until i came down to help him get it off of the truck. The guy said himself "this is embarassing". It is a hks replica, but the reviews on it was said to be all A's for the most part besides droning.. i do a lot of research before making any purchases and like i said it had great reviews for the exhaust itself.. for a 1/4th of the price i wanted to try it out. that last pic of the little dent wouldnt hurt anything performance/sound wise correct?

 

that is the china package. that exhaust has made it all the way from china to the states in that package. u cannot blame UPS.

That's how my Bassani was as well. Every piece was cut into styrofoam, sealed up, then wrapped with bubble wrap, then put in a box. I was impressed.

 

Wait - you were actually there and helped him unload that package in that condition?
