Thanks guys for the info and inputbut yes I do to think the car has had better days but once I buy it it will receive a complete make over along with a new built engine... I think I can get this z for 6500 and put the extra money on parts and upgrades that it will include...

Nismo v2 front bumper

Charge speed rear

Stillen side skirts

Work varianza t1s

Complete new paint job... Isf blue

And hopefully I will be able to get a hold of a momemntum performance turbo kit... Even though they are out of business...

Only reason why I like this one is because of the 6 speed manual transmission and the low miles... That's why I wanted to contact previous owner of how the car was running prior to the accident

In my opinion, spending 6.5k on a salvaged flood damaged car is ridiculous even with it being a manual trans and having low mileage. I just don't think it's a great investment because it has virtually no resale value should you ever decide to sell it and move on. Just my way of thinking...

Agree'd that the kit on that car is gross.

You should definitely pass on this man. Not only does it look horrendous, but its a flood vehicle that doesn't start. When they state it doesn't start, that means they've already tried to start it with a jump and couldn't do it. I actually looked at it myself since I have an IAAI account. It definitely isn't worth 6500. Most people who buy cars like these do so with the intention of parting it out. Since it looks like you have access to dealer auctions, I'd recommend buying from Manheim or Adesa. They have mostly clean cars that need usually little to no work. Good luck with whatever you decide man. I have some experience regarding these auctions so if you have questions, I'll do my best to answer.

Water and wiring/modules are not friends. Unless you are planning on getting a full wiring harness interior/exterior I would walk from this one... A body kit and a paint job is not going to fix the issues you are going to have later in this vehicle's life.

I'd pay $550 for it.
