OP, sounds like you need to get your life in order and adding mods to a car is not going to do that for you. Put that money away and wait till you have expendable cash from your own income. Good luck.

buy some suspension components and pocket the rest...coils, sways, endlinks, camber arms, and maybe a bushing or two

I appreciate your ideas. I don't know the first thing about investing...

Whats OP? And yea i will think about saving it...

But most likely I'm going to spend 900.00 on Tomei Cams, 165.00 on Tomei Valve Springs, 900.00 on Tein coilovers, and about 300.00 on stainless headers and testpipe......And save the rest... Cuz I'm really getting 5Gs but whatever...

Live and learn right....

Sometimes my ego gets in the way of some pretty wise ideas. Only one way for me to learn thats through experience.

So keep yalls heads up, pray to God, and the rest will fall into place.

Be yourself, aint nobody else like you.

OP means original poster. And I wish I had 3k to spend on my car haha. I would powder coat my wheels instead of plasti-dip them.

Or he's just full of sh$t tryin to get attention/trolling. Not saying thats the case but you cant rule that out when someone hasnt even broken 20 posts. I still say save it. Get a popcharger and some springs, then save the rest for maintenance. Headers provide minimal gain and make your exhaust raspy( so i hear?) plus install is almost impossible without Pulling the engine. Ull never regret getting a popcharger though.

Ps: NOS

If you live in TX I would consider doing suede-style seating mod. I hated leather when I lived in TX. Now here in Cali its much more appropriate.

Replied to your PM but in short I really think you can research enough to get a perfect set of springs depending on what heigh and stiffness you'd need and save a lot of dough.

I don't know much about engine mods (cams, etc), but wouldn't you need to budget for a proper tune after all of that?

Yes you would. I wouldnt put aftermarket cams unless youre already working on an engine thats taken out. Too expensive for such minimal gains

Its funny cuz i just dropped about that much my self. I got a full exhaust, test pipes, front bumper, and wheels. worked some and then bought tires. CF hood, coils, a sound system then im gonna start working on performance.
Id go with SC cuz my goal isnt too high.

Also congrats on recovery.Admitting all that stuff makes you much more mature than a 18 year old. never look back

good Luck
