(Im not talking down to you, im telling you things you likely already know. Im better than NO MAN.)

Sounds like you have a history of making impulsive and poor choices based on thinking of yourself.. I know, as I have been near there. It is what it is.

But it sounds like now youre in recovery, and thats awesome.. Ive been there but was on my own....but never kid yourself that you're out of the hole man....especially when you have money burning a hole in your pocket.
You sound as if perhaps you're in a high point, ie: in a mania, and its an addiction all in its own man.

Id save your money.. or use it on someone other than yourself. If you have 3 grand, your 28, behind the curve, and you have.. THREE GRAND.. thats it. think about it.. take a step back.

Using the government money for education for your car does not build character, and is not a sign of integrity. Dont squander Gods gifts in you, and His forgiveness. The choices you make once the heat is off your tail is what makes us good people, better people.. and that honors God. Everyone prays when they are in the sh#t man.. its what you do once youre out n free n clear that makes you closer to a path of righteousness.
Whatever you buy for this car of yours maybe can make you happy for a moment.. weeks? MAYBE? think about it. ( look at my signature man.. this advice i give you here is something i struggle with myself ALL the time).

Invest in yourself by investing in others.

Tithe, or give to the aid center that helped you get a second chance. And watch how long THAT experience of happiness lasts... a friggin LIFETIME brother..

Not sure if serious. Please dont test my massively overloaded (with random dumb chit that never seems to come in handy) teenage brain with these types of offers because I might just take you uP on that :O

To OP - save the cash. I dont know what year it is but you seem to have no idea of what kinda problems come with these cars, especially if you bought used like me.

I want to know where you are shopping, because you are either buying crap or someone is getting **** dirt cheap.

Coilovers, anything worth having is over 1g, plus install, 1g to do it right. Install, corner balance, align, set it for driver, match to wheel weight and tires for optimum roll, then setup sway bars, control arms, maybe an hide to refine and re adjust...

Intake, test pipes, exhaust say he spends 12-1500 installed.

Thats all his money.

Tune, tune how, on what, with what, where...

Wheels, I spend more than 3K on just wheels not to mention tires.

3K is not enough to spend adequately on anything significant. Like some have said, save it. Just avoid being those guys below.

Save and or invest your money. Personally, i'd buy some stock or buy some loans at lendingclub.com and earn a 16% annual return than have money stay stagnant. If money is burning a hole in the pocket take an awesome vaction, it will take your mind off of your troubles if you find yourself going back down the hole. Also, you have to think most of the time modification don't add value into into your car and all cars break, so you might want to have that money for future car repairs. Good Luck!

Me, I would take that 3k, and buy some a lot of w e e d and start selling or buy some chems out of state and strat making meth to deal. Then when I converted that 3k to 50k I would go fully built TT. You know you already have contacts that can get you started, do not lie to yourself. Do what you know to get what you want.
