Well the manager for the used car department of the dealer I got it at is an old family friend. He called the nissan lot next door and asked how much they wanted for it. Then he bought it from them for the same price they paid and sold it to me for what he had just payed. I didn't even know what the original window price was until about a year later when I found the window sticker under the floor of the glovebox.

 

Bought my '08 Base for 26k with full warranty and 11k miles on it. 72 year old guy owned it before me. Used a Corvette C5 as his DD and the Z as his weekend summer driver. Had the dealership throw in a 7" Double Din, short throw and injen exhaust with test pipes (which weren't installed but I have NIB) which marked the price up from 21k. All mods were from the first owner and he never got them installed but turned them in and the dealer installed them for me for 1/2 the price a mod shop would have. Not a bad deal really since it was from a Subaru dealer and the Nissan dealer across the street refused to go below 40k for a 370z with 6k miles on it.

 

Bought my 04 base in september for 12,000 with 42k miles

Not a steal of the century but there are 3 (!) 350Z cars in the area (150mi radius). One is '06 that I fear because of the oil consumption issue. The other is beaten '03.

 

2003 Base with 56k miles on it for 9k
She was in good condition with an aftermarket bumper and leather seats. No oil consumption issue as far as I can tell. Starting to see transmission issues, the syncros may be going bad, but nothing too bad. This could be because she is my track car and I drift her all day long though :P love this car!

maaaannnn people are getting some deals! i met a guy recently who got an 05 touring for 12k, like 70k miles and i thought that was good.

i paid 14 for an 04 touring with 47k last april. should have waited, it sat in the garage most of that time.

 

bought a 08 nismo with 29k miles for about 21 out the door.

 

15k for my 07 base with 55k miles.
