Default How much did you pay for your used Z?

Hey guys/girls, I was just wondering what kind of deals or *** rappings y'all got on buying your used Z... I just got my first 350z a month or two ago. I bought it cause I couldn't pass up the deal. I was actually looking to buy a 370z when this one popped up.... The previous owner needed money really bad and so he wanted to sell his extra car. A 2003 350z performance trim. 6mt... Had 18" Rota Torque and the rest of the car was stock... He put his price at $6k.... After a couple people from work tried but couldn't come up with the money he told me $4k and I couldn't resist so I snatched it up..... Car runs gat minus a couple little things that I have mostly fixed already........

So anyone else get a badass deal? Name: IMG_20120422_023045-1.jpg

Well, that's a steal, providing car has no major flaws. I assume it's a base model high mi car? If Enthusiast..all the better. Still.. still a steal @ that price.
I paid $20K even for an 08 TOURING with 37K mi last year..considered that a very good deal.

Welcome and congratulations. I am accustomed to new members claiming that they stole a 350Z. As usual the claim is always unverifiable, and generally leaves something out:
Miles? 50 or 200000?
No bill of sale
Clean or savage title?
The car is a hot potato. Oil consumption. Transmission problems that the seller chose not to spend thousands of $$$ fixing. Just passed the headache to the new owner.

Not aimed at any poster mind you.. just talking out loud. I jsut see the thread growing into madness soon as the Dugans of the web find it... haha.

id love to merge in data for the price paid here used, join dates, post count, as comapred to those who bought the car brand new.. cross analyze the posting habits and mods done to car as well.. haha.

it will be quite the social litmus test for bad threads and mods.. I pray for all of you who got them cheap.. hopefully youll all see it as just a good deal on a great car, and hopefully dont confuse the isue just becuase the 350z used has the price tag of a new civic now.

+1 ^ Agree LOL

2005 Touring Roadster 74k $11,500 from the dealer that was asking $19,995 I looked a lot before buying and was happy this one wasn't molested like the others I've seen.

I compared the same car over and over again with an average price at $17,500 roughly for the Dallas area so I still think it was a Deal!

BTW - bmccann101 where did you get that shifter plate?

One thing pretty much trumps what you mention>>>>
he only paid $4K
Car would have to be almost a rolling chassis for this deal to be a fail.
From pic..looks pretty decent to me.

I remember seeing a similar post on another forum. Some guy who claimed to have bought a STi then later the truth comes out that he stole it. Congrats on the great deal just make sure the VIN on the tranny, motor and chassis is legit. LOL

Got my 2006 350Z 6-Speed enthusiast edition in December 2011 for 13k with 72.5k miles.
Guy was selling it for his nephew who went away for college.
Car was probably sitting for like 8 months, it was caked in dirt and even had dust all over the inside.
Car was in good shape, took it to dealer for every maintenance and oil change *synthetic* every 5K miles.
Only downside is the chips on the front and the windshield has all these wierd little specks all over it that sometimes almost blind me when the sun hits it haha.
And a scrape on the left rear wheel well, don't know how he did that....
