Default Anyone have engine replaced by NNA?

I can't believe it. My car is 9 months old and has 7700 miles. The thing loses almost 3 quarts of oil in 1000miles. I've taken it to the dealer and they can't figure out where it's losing oil and are going to ask NNA if it's okay to replace my engine.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

If so, has anyone been able to get Nissan to replace the car rather than just a new engine?

I don't mind getting a new engine, but it's going to be impossible to sell my car in 2-3 years if I disclose that the engine was replaced. That's why I think it's worth fighting for a new car.

If Nissan gives you a new engine, I'll be surpised. When the BMW M3 came out in 2001, about 100 had bad engines and the owners had to pay out of pocket to replace them.

That's not normal - - check out your states lemon law, you should get a new engine free if not a new car - - check into it now, don't let the dealer drag it out - - good luck
