Congrats, have fun in your next car. He'll get more women with this car than we do, so let him leave in peace.

i think the merc is pretty nice looking but i must say you wont enjoy it as much as the Z...i had a crossfire which is basically the same just rebodied before my Z and i absolutely hated it..rattles and cheap interior and just gutless and too many electronics on the car to make it fun.

LMAO. Yeah, I had to google the SLK hoping it wasn't the girly-looking car and sure enough, it was.

I would've went for something better. SLK is way too ugly. No offense though cuz I know I sound like a douche and you sounds like a great guy, sir. Just wished you woulda got something better.

imo this is a bad move.. SLK's are boring as hell to drive. Nonetheless, congrats on the new car and enjoy it!

10 years with one car is a long time, enjoy the Merc. Always fun to have a new or new to your car to play with.

Why can't you own a car no longer than 14 months?

I've had my Sentra for 12 years and my Z for 8. Love holding on to quality things.

Well, I'm enjoying the ride in the SLK. Just as fast as my 03Z. Much better ride and the noise level is way less than the Z ....and that's with the top down. The Z was fun as I have owned three Zs in the past. I likes the hard top convertible concept and it's like having two cars in one. I never liked Z convertibles as I have always felt a true Z was a coupe and the Z convertible looks like a clown car to me. Being a car nearly twice the price new as a 03Z, the fit finish and quality of the SLK is amazing. That's not to put down the Z as it too would have a higher level of refinement if the price was at Merc levels.......but then that would not be the Zs market niche. Both are great cars at different price points. I would have looked at a 370Z if I truly liked the way it looked.....Maybe a future Z will lure me back into the fold.
