well we're going on five years and live together, almost common law marriage... I figure if i keep buying her stuff I can hold off getting married.... I actually went to the dealership looking for a jetta for her. I test drove the Z just for ***** and giggles, next thing I know its sitting in my driveway.. whole day was kind of a blur, I was hoping she wouldnt like it so I would just take it.... no such luck, now I cant pry her from the seat

I did the same, in the long run it sets the precedence for later on. During the course of my relationship with my girlfriend I bought her two brand new cars. Now that she's my wife she never complains about anything I buy for myself. Anytime I want new rims or mods she just smiles. But if your relationship goes to the toilet before marriage....

Depends on the state you live in. Washington, for example, doesn't have traditional common law marriage.
You sir, have a major issue on your hands. You've taught her that she can dip into your wallet. You don't want a woman that dips into the wallet, trust me. Huge waste of time and effort. If you don't want to get married, then tell her you don't want to get married. It really is that simple.
She didn't go with you to pick out the car?

We are going to get married, Im just not it any rush...seems most of all my friends who are married are miserable and/or fight all the time and we're really happy together, I figure why change it?
She doesnt ask for anything...ever, I just like buying things for her, she was really poor growing up, and she appreciates it... she didnt come with me because I never told her she was getting a car. She came home and a Z was sitting in our garage. If it makes me whipped, so be it

I like how my wife is not into modding cars, yes she enjoys driving them but doesn't care if its modded or not. $500 shoes, purses etc etc are cheap compaired to the money dropped on my Z.

So wait, I just saw that hater thread you posted. So now it sounds like you bought the Z for you, and then she took it from you...hmm. So either you contradict yourself, you're trying to get attention, or you're the one making the sandwiches...
