You are getting negative feed back because what you did is stupid, as you have admitted time and time again. That being said, the majority of the members on here are rather mature. What you deem as hilarious, is just stupid from our perspective. You are not amongst a bunch of 17 year old friends here. You are amongst car enthusiasts who respect their cars and it wouldn't abuse them as such. So don't expect a welcoming response to your useless thread.

This is a great idea if you were, at the time, stranded in a remote location so that people could either A. Smell your clutch. or B. See that you were in need from the smoke signals you were most likely putting off. Its possibly a nice car(after earlier information I use the term nice loosely here), there is no point to rip it to shreds because your friends may think it is funny.

See 'interesting' mods and stupidty like this from the 'adult' crowd all the time.

If anything, maybe the younger guys will breath some life into this semi-dead forum , naive or not.

The problem with the internet is that our brains haven't evolved a filter between the stupid crap we do and getting on the internet to tell 2,000 strangers about it.

I did stupid crap as a kid, too. Thank god the only people who knew about it were the ones who witnessed it first hand. To the new generation, your ignorance is now bronzed booties hanging on the wall of public domain. Enjoy being laughed at, made to feel useless, the subsequent drinking problem, and eventual closet-hanging suicide. Post pics.
