Default Lost My Z

Its been a while since I have been here.. I went through a nasty divorce and lost my white Z to my wife earlier this year...

Soooooo I went out and bought me a nice red one with only 35k on it AND I dont have to worry anyone bitching at me when i drive it.. Life is so now much better and fuller than it was!!!!

Hey, can anyone tell me what kind of Nismo wheels are on the red Z I just bought? I cant seem to find much on them.. I know they are 18's but I dont know the width or offset? Thanks for any help

Thanks!! They are wrapped in 275/40's, which is about the same size as the 275/35/19's I had on my white Z.. Is there a slightly wider/taller size I can squeeeze on there in the rear?

Get married in a state with "equitable divorce" and not 50/50 divorce. Equitable means they take stuff into account like your age, what you came into the relationship with, etc. 50/50 divorce says if you are a 50 year old millionaire who married a broke 18 year old, if you are married for 1 day, she gets half your stuff.

Side note, I heard from a lawyer not to propose on a holiday. Apparently the engagement ring is considered a gift and she keeps it no matter what. Any other time she has to give the ring back if she breaks it off.

Side note #2, women are evil.

This is right on the money. I had to do quite a bit of research on this a few years back when my ex lost her engagement ring. Since I was the only one with homeowners insurance, I had to prove that the ring was still technically MY property.

An engagement ring is considered a "conditional gift", only becoming her property under the condition of our marriage. This is valid in 48 of the 50 states. I remember that Montana is one of the excluded two, but don't remember the second. If you propose on a holiday, she could claim it was a normal (xmas, valentines, etc) gift.

Wrong, in almost every state. My daughters fiancee broke off their engagement several months ago and she had to give the rings back; did some research and if the marriage doesn't happen, and the guy bought the rings, the girl has to give them back. They are not considered a gift, they are considered a part of the impending marriage and if no marriage, no rings. Regardless - prenup is the safest thing to do. Actually staying single is the best thing to do - this coming from a guy who has been happily married for 28 years, lol. So I kid........

Im in a 50/50 state and was able to keep everything I brought into the marriage but I did have to show unquestionable proof such as my IRA and all investments.. I only had to split what was aquired during the marriage...

Advise, if at all possible, always keep what you bring into a marriage seperate and leave it seperate. If its an account or investment, dont touch it, start a new one or transfer only what your willing to lose 1/2 of..

Not sure about your state... but Indiana it's only 50/50 after 6 months... I'm sure 1 day isn't the case

before filing title that to your mom or someone you can trust.. obviously you have to have a keen insight that the relationship is going south
