Don't know how worried I should be. But a week back I posted about my Engine making a LOUD BOOM noise. Sounded like an engine backfiring.

Ever since that day my tranny grinds when going from 4th to 5th about 25% of the time.
Does this sound like it could be related?
Is this what has happened to people who have had to have their trannys replaced?

Please Help.

No, they had a 2-3 grind problem. It could be your guide plate on your shifter. Go to the Rogue Engineering website and download the install manual for the short shifter. It will tell you exactly how you adjust the guide plate for proper shifting.

Yeah the move went good thanks. The government did pretty much everything for me. I could've done it all myself and made some money, but it's just not worth the hassle anymore.
