Red face What Do You Guys Think??

I currently have a 350z 05 automatic transmission.Im new to modding and i am

learning bit by bit, i am not gonna be able to get a manual trans so my

question is should just go for it and mod my car (body kit, exhaust, intake,

brakes, wheels, rims etc) or should i just wait some years for my next car. i

know about how auto is "shitty and stuff" but i just have no choice but to either

mod it or wait some years for my next car. so im wondering what you guys

think about this and give me ideas.... thanks.

Mod it exterior wise. You just have to look fast.

If you're going to keep the auto but want to add a little fun to your driving you could opt for a paddle shift kit from Works Bell.

http://www.worksbell.co.jp/en/produc...ger/paddle.htm

No, it isn't going to convert your tranny to a super hi tech semi automatic but you could get some valve body work done to firm up the shifts.

Other than that, sell it and get a '07+ with a manual.

Automatics are actually taking over high performance sports cars. You can't rely on a driver to always shift gears without glitches. Granite the 350z doesnt come with a GTR's or Aventador's automated transmission. But putting a shift kit, a good torque converter, and paddle shifters will for sure make it more exciting to drive. That and boost!

First mod....transgo valve body and fresh fluid. Second mod is MD Spacer and 93 octane gasoline. Then third mod is beating up on noob 6mt owners that can barely take off the line without stalling, bucking, jerking or wobbling.

Just drive it like it is and enjoy it until you find something more fun. Like a manual Z.

whats so bad about modding an auto. Is there really that big of a difference between an at/mt when they both have the same mods? I don't think so....

You screwed up and should have bought an 07 or 08. Other than that I would lightly mod it. GET A LSD!!!! Best 1st mod you can do. Maybe add some wheels and a slight drop, and swap the headlights and tail light to 06+. Please please PLEASE do not overdo it and turn it into a rice rocket. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
