Question good mods for an 03 NA Automatic Z?

alright, so i have an 03 350 basicaly stock besides the JWT pop charger that came with the car. what are some mods i can do that can gain my some noticable HP. most people say just go I/H/E. if i go that way whats the best combination to go with? or is it even possible to SC or Turbo an auto Z?

thanks.

Some good quick mods for hp.

1)JWT popharger (you already have one, but make sure its clean)
2)Plenum spacer
3)Test pipes
4)Cat back exhaust

Don't do headers, they are a big hassle to get in (labor intensive) and you get minimal gains.

Our cars don't really gain much from simple bolt on mods. If you want to make big power you have to go with forced induction.

Since you have an auto, I think turbo is a no, you can go with a supercharger though.

NONE. All mods on NA setups will yield no noticeable horsepower gains. All noticeable gains, or claimed gains are simply known as the placebo effect.

Exceptions would be doing a fully built motor, but then you would be spending $10k plus, so might as well go FI at that point.

Enjoy your car for what it is.

What headers are you referring to? I have the crawford z headers and I get great gains on my Z.

You've been listening to the wrong people. Gains from Intake/Exhaust are minimal, not something you would easily notice. Don't even bother with headers.

So many people have gone down the intake and exhaust road and been disappointed after spending all the money. If you do do it, you should do it for the more aggressive sounds, not the hp gains.

This is why you can't take everyone's advice here.

Skip the I/H/E, and just go with some 4.08 gears, best N/A mod available

Yeah a tasteful set of rims are always good. But I think OP wants mods on how to get some HP gains on his butt dyno with a NA build.
