Say what you want, but I have had a Camaro with louvers and I gotta tell you they add privacy and they keep the interior MUCH cooler in the summer.
I don't think I would put them on a Z necessarily, but they do have some nice advantages.

I'm not saying they didn't have their advantages, hell, those sunglasses that old ladies wear that cover 3/4 of their face and you could weld with have advantages....

Hey, on some Z's it looked good and was quite functional. The black carpeting in the back of the early model Z's had a tendency to turn brown. If I remember correctly, Nissan actually sold one but I bought a different brand for my 300ZXT.
Today though, there is NFW I would put one on a 350Z. The lines of the car just don't lend themselves to it.

Exactly, there is a time and place for things like that, the Z just isn't one of them.... It really reminds me of the fan cover for the whole house fan we had in our house growing up. Redneck airconditioner anyone?
