Ouch.


I had a polyurethane lip on the car I traded in for the Z. It was lowered and I scraped on everything but it survived well. Until I went to a car wash at the end of winter in Indiana and hit a ice chuck. I think because the polyurethane was so cold it cracked instead of flexing like usual.

 

My Z survived since 03!!!! DEATH was bound to get me sooner or later..like FINAL DESTINATION!

only with my Z.

 

How do you run that $#!+ over? And btw, that tow hook better not be for decoration.

 

I ran it over because w/e position i was in on the road i had no out. even if i slammed brakes the benz behind me would have been sitting on my lap. However he got it worse than i did once w/e i hit came off my bottom and ended up hitting his car as well.

tow hooks for both decor and use. but the one i use is not red though. i swap them up.

 

damn that sucks. i'd expect something like this to happen on the Turnpike; not the Parkway.

 

FIxed, even better. Made a new center bracket version as well.

What mile marker? I was at 135 last week at night and saw a construction sign that was laid down in the street taking up 2 lanes. I swerved just in time but I know other cars definitely hit it

 

It was near PNC art center like tight at them 2 exit lanes coming north. It was deff someones rear muffler.

That's a beautifull lip..., in fact, one of the best I've seen.
Having said this...I'll be going to a urethane lip when the time comes...for the very reason you have shown here.

 

yeah, but the problem with urethane (which i have had before) is gives enough, but when it gets stuck it will rip off more then just itself. Luckily my FG lip broke away causing no extra damage to the OE bumper.

yes i know. Kinda why i wasn't freaking out when it did happen. I was like F it..least im healthy!

 

This is why I did not buy the 500+ veilside lips for situations like this. Instead, i got the amuse set for 500+ more than the lip.

 

hey Since 04 till now....Money was worth spent! Lips got me lotta Cho Cha, I won a Z100 Contest and made $, Went to shows and won trophies. So i'd say Being that i only live once why not spend the $ cause i cant take it with me.
