I picked it up!
Wow! I asked the dealer to contact the regional guy and ask him what was up and I called down to NNA in So Cal and opened a case about "why is my car on your web inventory for a week but it hasn't shown up at my dealer? Where is it and when will it get there?".
So then I got a call at 1:30 this afternoon that the truck would be there at 3:00. Then I got a call that the truck had just pulled up.
When I got there, and they were surprised at how fast I got there, the regional guy was there with a Le Mans Touring. I guess he needed to provide sales training since this was the first delivery my dealer had received. Le Mans looks much better in person BTW. He also spoke with the service tech and provided some service update materials for them.
All in all it was a pleasant delivery experience at the dealer. The detail guy seemed a little ticked that I wanted to wash it myself(liability), but other than that it was great. I was stopped I don't know how many times trying to leave so someone else could take a look, but I got outta there and have put 75 miles on it already. It's GREAT!!!
The service tech, Bob, was great and took time to check it all out. He was also very calm on the test drive, which i went on. Ask for him if you get your Z at T&C in Seattle.
I'll post some pics soon as well.
BTW - It's a silverstone performance model.

ksj, glad to hear that your car finally arrived..you must be thrilled. I cannot wait to see the silverstone. You must bring it to the seatlle Z's meet on 09/28...dv_johnson will post a poll thread to choose the site. Thanks again for taking the awesome pictures of my Z and for posting them as well. Looking forward to seeing you again.Marcy
9.6 when I got there. The engine was warm but they said they just had it running and people took rides in the regional reps car.
Seems reasonable, and it's ~10 miles less than my Pathfinder had on it when I bought it new. We only went around the block and the service tech mentioned that there wasn't much gas in these when they are new (light was on right away) so we needed to fill it up.
We returned to the dealership and he handed me the rest of the keys. I signed a little paperwork and went with the salesman, Eddie, over to the detail shop a little down the road. There I tried to wash the car while every salesperson from every dealership stopped by to take a look. BTW, Eddie was great and went so far as to follow me home in my Pathfinder so I could drop it off.
The detail guy was a little annoyed about not getting to detail the car, but I explained I wanted to do it myself and he said OK. Then he took one look at my bottle of Dawn and said "that's the worst thing you can use to wash your car". "It will strip your wax" he said. I said I was going to use Zaino on the car after I clayed it and he said Oh and walked away.
Another guy was shaking his head when I said I was going to clay it, but whatever. He did turn me on to some commercial place that is supposed to make good stuff. Wesmar was the name I think. Anyone heard of it? They are in Seattle.

Nice!!!
I went to the dealership and saw one on display. The salesman said the guy hasnt come to pick it up yet, ODD! I would've been camping out waiting for the truck to arrive and make sure no one drives it with out me seeing them drive the car.
I'm just super paranoid about that kinda stuff.
Glad to see you got the car!

Hey Marcy, I need to retake the photos of your car. They were awful! I had my camera set at a high ISO (in mid-day!) from the last time I used it and that doesn't show in the viewfinder. They were so dark because I put an ND filter on it, not realizing that it wasn't the brighness of your car that was blowing away the meter, it was the high ISO.
Anyway, I got that fixed and will be happy to take some pics on the 28th or sooner if there is another get together.

Hey Doc, I was being nice and told the sales manager I would take a pic with the saleman. I only gave it a wash at the dealer. The rest is getting done this weekend.
Hey Bob, I'm free tomorrow afternoon if you want to take a ride (I work in Rdmd). Otherwise we'll have to work out somewhere to meet Sat.
