The wife loves driving my 06 enthusiast and she decided her next car would be a Z. Ive searched all over and have seen a lot of different conflicting opinions on the subject of a 350 vs a 370 so im asking you guys for opinions on this, but she told me if she can find an 08 nismo she will get it, but i still need opinions on an 08 350 vs an 11 370. if you feel you need to flame, go ahead.

Well I'm going to be bias, so it's not really a good opinion.

Has she driven a 370 or the nismo? The Nismo is going to be a tough daily driver and it might get old quick depending on the driver. She might like the 370's interior and smoother feel over the 350. Either way, she needs to drive both to see how she feels.

 

She has driven an 08 nismo, but she feels like if she is going to pay that much for an 08 she might as well get an 11 370, she hastnt driven a 370z thought she is going saturday to do that.

 

Personally I would get the 08 Z but I have a feeling she will like the interior & the refinement of the 11 Z

 

yeah thats what i said she is not worried about interior though she wants to track the car as soon as she gets it, took her to a HPDE a couple weeks ago and she has been hooked ever since

 

YOU get the 08 nismo. And give her yours.

i feel like the only reason anyone's really held back from a 370z outside of price are its looks.. if you are okay with the looks then I don't see why not

Not a big fan of the base 370. The rear wheelbase is huge. If it doesn't come equipped with a spoiler, it looks silly as well. Although I did see the 2013 and the rims have been improved

i assume DDing the 08 nismo would be a little bit pesky but it is an awesome car! i have only an 03 but i love it anyways.. give her the 06 get the 370!

Your damn right but I think she isnt getting the nismo anymore, looking at an 08 daytona blue or a white z right now, or a red 2011 370z, im just waiting on her to make her choice, she took your guys input very seriously when considering the nismo as a DD, expect a new forum member in a couple weeks!

Edit: I DD it for 4 years straight commuting 45 miles every day. Was very comfortable and never thought it was inconvenient.
