Not a fan of the hood and carbon overlays on the steering wheel and headlights, but overall it seems like a nicely modded Z. How much exactly?

The tail lights are pretty cheesy IMO. I would be leary of a turbo car with 100k, especially with that kit as I have read that many of the components are not very durable. How long has the turbo been on the car?

More details:

80,000 km's, not sure how long its been built, asking $22,000 cdn.

Yeah, a few items are not my choice, but everyone has different tastes I guess.........Dyno #'s are 373whp 395tq

Apparently it has won some trophies etc.....

Buddy is claiming 600whp capable motor, and I am always interested in "claimed" numbers......

One thing I noticed on the build specs was that he is still using the DE OEM head gaskets.....now from most of what I have read, Big Boost DE's go at least with HR head gaskets..?

Build specs I got via text so far:

Custom Long block
Wiseco Pistons .020 over
Eagle/SCAT H Beam Rods
Block inspected, cleaned, bored & honed
Crank Magnafluxed
Journals micropolished
Moly coated race spec rod bearings
OEM head gasket
Heads, inspected, cleaned & re-decked
Ported Intake / exhaust runners
JWT Upgraded Cams
JWT HD valve springs
5 angle radius cut valve job
OEM valve stem seals
Valve stem height set
Cold clearance set
OEM Revup oil pump
Koyl Radiator
Unorthodox Lightweight pulley set c/w underdrive
Stage 3 clutch

and a few other goodies I guess........

I would be leery of a 100k turbo motor unless it was rebuilt recently, did he test drive it?

boosted car with turbonetics, ive done some reading at the FI threads and they say turbonetics is garbage BUYER BEWARE. also 80k km is actually low like what is that 45k miles? it seems cool but for 22k i wouldnt pay that premium price as you wont know what will happen hes better off buying a 03 at 100k stock and then build the motor himself atleast it wont be so heavily modded but he has the sake of knowing the build quality and what is what.

Had read very similar reviews on that kit, hopefully it works for him......and I feel the same, I would rather mod from stock, but to each his own.

Yeah sorry about the mis-info > Indeed it has 80,000 km [50,000ish miles]

So I guess he is picking it up Tuesday next week. Hopefully it all works out for him. I pushed him to join here etc....

Seems like a pretty good car to me. The price is a little high though IMO. I wonder why the owner dumped so much cash into building the motor to run a Turbonetics and make less than 400 WHP.

Those lights are an straight from Nissan BTW.
