Default My poor bumper

I've only owned my z for a little over 2 months and tonight I had a small fox run under my car doing 65. I pay good attention while driving but this thing came out of nowhere and straight under the bumper before I could even touch the brakes.

No story would be complete without pics so here you guys go

Thankfully I have full coverage and I'm going to get it fixed soon. I can't stand looking at my car in this condition and it's sad I've barely got to know my z before this happened.

^ Exactly. Thankfully it didn't lead to a wreck or anything worse than just a front bumper!

Does anybody have any experience in turning something like this into their insurance company? I called them and they said go get an estimate at some auto body shops and to let them know what I find out.

How long will it take to get the ball rolling on something like this so I don't have to feel pain every time I look at the z?

Your insurance company will try to pay out the lowest quote.

That sucks about the Z. On the plus side, you'll get a real coat of paint on your bumper now instead of the paper thin coat Nissan gave you.

Yikes, poor fox. I hit an opossum a while ago and totally destroyed my front as well. That's no fun.

I finally managed to be able to ziptie that undercarriage plastic up. It was dragging as it is barely held on by a few screws and most places the plastic just ripped away from the screws rendering the holes useless.

Gonna ask about some good body shops today at work and go get estimates tomorrow
