Default Good picture spot

Found a good spot for some more pictures. We need rain. Things are sure dry and brown. Be nice when everything is green and hope for no fire.

I think over the hill from TO would be Malibu.

Looks like off of Kanan road maybe. I lived in TO/WLV/Agoura for ~10 years before I moved to the Northwest 9 years ago.

Great area to have a Z!

It looks like Simi Valley, maybe buy the new houses off Yosemite? The 118 should be right behind the hill in the foreground.

ok edit, i looked at it again, it has to be. the way the car is in the afternoon sun.

It is in a parking lot in the Point Mugu State Park. To the left in the picture would be Potrero Road which leads to Decker/Mulhulland. There are so many great driving roads throughout the Santa Monica Mountains. It is a great place to have a Z

I'm sorry but the scene isn't spectacular. The car, however, is...

Drive down to the Laguna cliffs on Niguel, and there you'll have some nice scenes...

you need a polarizer/uv filter to eliminate some of the haze and make the sky a richer blue

Have a UV (0) on it now. I wondered what would get ride of the haze. Would I get any particular type of polarizer filter, or any suggetions? Thanks.

I wish I could find a spectacular site around here. Everything is brown and dry. Maybe after a few rains. I am sure Laguna would be a great place for some shots......maybe an excuse for a road trip

A circular polarizer will work pretty well to remove some of that haze... Also if you do have time, try a different time like dusk or dawn to get better lighting on your car......

the circular polarizer also enables you to control and eliminate unwanted reflected light
