If theres one thing ive learned it doesn't matter what car your driving, if the weather is too bad to drive in dont risk it. Even if your in an awd car that can handle it the problem is most of the other idiots out on the road aren't and you cant stop somebody else from hitting you. If the weathers too bad for my Z in snow tires i find a different way to get to where i need to go. Sorry to hear about your car though nothing you can really do about a situation like that
