I am currently a daily simple car driver and looking to get an 04 Nissan 350z. Already have mod plans and very excited to get it. The price range I've seen down here in San Diego is pretty good so hopefully will get it by the end of this year. Was wondering what you guys think of the spec and mod ideas for the 350z. Dilemma I'm having is choosing between convertible or hard top. These are the plans I have:

-Metallic black paint job
-35% rear windshield tint, 40% side windows, 45% front windshield
-114 mm 5 to 4 lug spacers
-Tsw trackstar4 rims, 4x114, 17x7 widen back to 17x9 and front to 17x8
-Twin intake
-Twin turbo
-Front bumper: Extreme Dimensions Duraflex AM-S Wide Body Front Bumper
-Rear bumper: Bay Speed Espirt Rear Valance (bodykits.com)
-A- arms/ coil overs , drop by 1/2 inch rear and stock height in front
-Slot break rotors
-Leather race seats and harnesses
-Red accented stickers and forum stickers and friend stickers.
-Falken tires rear P245/50R20 102V ZIEX ZE-912
-Falken front tires P225/50ZR18 95W ZIEX ZE-912
-Trip-tronic Transmission change, (whatever else to fix and change drive style)
- Drift set up on coil overs.

Any recommendations or things that I need to fix up a bit on the 350 let me know. I want to do a lot to this car and make it fun track car that I can enjoy with speed and drifting. Yes I am going to daily drive it as well, so I'm going to keep stock rims and tires to ease the usage of the tires and align it for a great drive. Any help is welcomed and hope to hear good feedback let me know.

I would focus on getting the car first...

You will most likely need a new window motor and thats about $200 lol.

I can't tell where you're getting all this info, but a lot of it doesn't make sense. Take your wheel and tire sizes for example, 17" wheels and 20/18" tires???? And twin turbo kinda implies twin intakes

My other comments would be..

-- don't waste your money on spacers and 17" wheels, get 18 or 19" with the proper offsets and widths.

-- tiptronic trans - pass on an auto if you want it to be a fun track car.

-- what's your budget for all this? $50K That's a lot to put into a car your gonna buy for $10K.

I'm assuming the 4x114 is a typo and you meant 5x114. But as Dave mentioned, Don't bother with 17s. Go straight to 18 or 19. I would recommend 18 for track/drifting.

Also, don't bother with a convertible. That's just more stuff that can break and in my personal opinion, they look horrible compared to the coupe.

Just get as many stickers as possible, and call it a day.

You are employed?
And,you make how much a week?
If the answer is yes to the two previous questions, how much money
will you have after expenses to spend on this car?
Start there before making a list.

I would get a nice corvette instead of all that lol.

I have a question I would really like to get an answer to... How much money do you think is going to cover all that? The TT + installation alone is going to cost more than your car lol.

i just bought a z on saturday for 10k

i already have a built lq4 from my last drag car. and it still will cost me around 8k just to get it in and finished. These cars are not for the shallow pocketed team, which i am the captian of.

Imma advise you to not tint front windshield that dark. I'd go with 70% or a simple UV shield film.

by the end of the year? If it's going to take you up to a year to pick up a 2004 350z, I don't know how you'll be able to put everything in your list together...and why twin turbo? lol I would see if the stock power is enough for your needs...

So you must have a 6 figure salary to pay for all this right? You should get volk's then instead of tsw they have a similar design and why are you getting cheap fiberglass body kit you're obviously rich so go all out and get a carbon fiber kit. Also you're going to get a wide body front bumper without a wide body and no sideskirts just front and rear bumper
