A manual is not that much engagement, its a simple shuffle of the feet to switch gears, so having an auto sports car is not a bad thing. If your irritated by it, cool story bro, but just because you have a manual doesnt mean ****. Go to a track and see if you dont get destroyed by someone who knows how to drive their auto.

Plus most super cars dont allow you to use a stick anymore, they are semi-manuals with computer shifted double clutchs, not making it a true manual, so does that mean you wont drive a GTR or a Ferrari? No it doesnt and if you say yes your a dumbass. Just because you have an auto doesnt mean you dont have a sports car, its a personal preference, I could see if the Z's auto tranny sucked ***** but its actually safer than the manual tranny that they had to revise twice. Ive never had my tranny replaced under warranty and my gears have never grinded, my clutch has never burnt out and ive never had problems shifting.

Point blank Tranny dont make the car fun or the driver have fun, the driver makes that happen with his own skills and knowledge of his cars.
Yes in a race around a track I would rather use the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 flappy paddle than the manual version if I was dead serious about winning the race and if I weren't that experienced with the manual version of the car. But I have mastered manual transmission and I love having more control over the car so I would rather take the manual LP560-4. On another side note manual transmissions keeps drivers more focused so they can't text while driving which is what most people in my generation like to do nowadays to get themselves killed in car accidents. A couple of my friends are terrified of driving manual because they like granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like they should. They were lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake too. Because they don't know how to drive manual me and the mad scientist had to rip apart the block and replace the piston rings they fried.

Well bro than you can understand that its not the tranny but the driver, because i know for sure you would have fun in that gallardo manual or not. I do second that most kids nowadays are terrified of and terrible at driving manual, but at the same time America was brought up on the auto transmission, so you cant really blame anyone for buying an auto trans sports car.

My 08 Touring has 30k miles and I'd only be asking a little more than what the dealer is asking for that car.

Don't get a sports car in an automatic transmission. If you're so eager to buy the car that you want to try to find a way to get money from the bank on Sunday, I think you're making an impulsive decision. Slow down and rethink your decision.

Can you explain why is it so bad to get a sports car in an automatic transmission?

There are only 4 reasons an automatic transmission should be opted for in a sports car.

1. Bad left leg.
2. Too old.
3. Trying to break records at drag strip.
4. Female.

Manual transmissions are just a chitload of fun, plain and simple. The automatic versions may be faster, but who really gives a damn when you're having so much fun? Granted, some people just buy a car for the looks and if that's the case then more power to them. I just ask that they try a manual at some point of their life to see what they are missing out on.

5. Ricer.
6. Don't know how to learn how to drive properly (get your *** off the road).
7. Mommy and Daddy wouldn't buy you a manual.
8. If you buy a V6 mustang or camaro lol.
9. If it's a Ferrari.

Let me amend that to "more fun". I have 129,000 on my '03 Daily driver 365 days a year even in Ohio winters so I enjoy it every day too. But I enjoy it a lot more at Mid Ohio, Barber Sports Park, ZDayZ, etc etc......

The seats have contouring at the front of the seat, so it will never be 100% flat, and if it were, it probably wouldn't be a comfortable driving style. Best thing to do is go take one or two for a drive, then you can make an educated decision yourself.

The Zed was never built to be an economical car and short journeys around town are gonna kill your fuel economy and to make it even worse an auto box will make that even worse. I find manuals a lot more fun to drive and have never seen the point in auto sports cars.
As mentioned in a previous post the little spoiler was an option and i've seen plenty without them. Personally i don't think they look that bad, the things that make me laugh are the spoilers that look like they've come off a light aeroplane and been turned upside down.

There is really no need for spoilers on any street car because in order for the spoilers to start actively working you'll be going way over the speed limit and some pigs will chase after you making noises and flashing red and blue lights at you. All they do is add weight and hurt your fuel economy. But some short ones do look kind of nice. I do like the little short wing that they offered for the Z even though it serves no purpose besides looks.
