prior to purchasing my current Z a month ago, I was looking at 97/98 240s as personally they were one of my favourite cars growing up(I had two s13s, one '95 s14, but never the Kouki s14 since they are really rare around here and people want an arm and a leg for an automatic one)...

Ended up going with the Z obviously, for my own reasons, and I'm glad I did...and like someon mentioned, if times are that tough, sell off any mods you may have and if not...well payments on $3800 shouldn't be too much

 

Refinance the $3800, and love the Z.

I'd rather have a nice looking car to drive around in than a rare POS sitting in the garage

I am keeping my Z. I'm just too in love with it. Yes 190k is high. I know. But she's still my baby. She drives like she has 30k. All maintenence has been kept up on it. So no worries.

As for the green wheels, I traded my 19in g35 rays for these plus cash. So I ended up making a profit. I know they are green, but they were professionally powdercoated. I just don't have the money to powdercoat them at the moment. But they will eventually get powdercoated.

Benn down the road with 240's and my experience is that KA-T sucks. Even at 350hp its a time bomb plus the body looks like shat. There is a pic of my best 240 in one of my threads and it shats all over this one and I wouldn't trade your Z for my old one. I know it will suck but sell some of you parts to pay off the 3800 and rebuild in the future

 

good decision. I had 3 240's including a kouki and parts are as expensive as for the Z plus they are harder to find. The Z is definitely an upgrade as a platform to build for anything.

 

If it was completed, then sure. As is, hell no.

No Cams, crappy EpRom Tuner, 3 angle valve job.. by who? This car is legit worth maybe 2-3K as it sits. It'll sell to some idiot kid for twice that but that is the nature of the stupidity. Ill trade you my mint clean D1 spec S12 Silvia with a KA-T completely finished and still pay off your loan.
