Nice! My Z will look pretty similar to yours come spring.

I also updated to the 06+ front bumper this month, but no HR hood. On top of the Z emblems, I also have the 06+ headlights/taillights (JDM). No spoiler or mudguards for me though. I'll have 18" G35 Coupe wheels as well.

Hey OP, did your 06+ bumper come with the inserts (moldings) or did you buy them separately?

Would've bought Z1 test pipes and Motordyne spacer. Nonetheless nice progress.

Thanks, I actually thought about Z1 test pipes and Motordyne spacer, but wanted 2.25'' test pipes to match my exhaust diameter. As for the plenum spacer, I got a CZP spacer for my friend and it's identical to Motordyne's 1/2, although it's a bit thinner at 3/8.

When your driving normally down the road with your exhaust upgrades doesn't the car sound weird and droney because of the auto tranny? Several cars I've known that were auto and had modded loud exhaust didn't sound too good when they were on the move, it just sounded like the car had a blown muffler or cracks and holes in the exhaust, or a screwed up flex pipe like in some FWD cars.

What does exhaust have to do with tranny? The exhaust sound is dependent on the air flow and on the type of exhaust you're using.

I know that, but the way a modified exhaust sounds on a manual when driving vs. the same exhaust on the same car but it's an auto driving doesn't sound as aggressive or good. Do you know what I mean? I guess it's the shifting between gears and the abrupt change in the exhaust note that makes it sound better than the automatic.

Quality is very good, so are the welds

Nice progress man. I say transgo valve body upgrade before anything else on the wish list. I've read it's like driving a whole different car with the kit on. Make a before and after video too

I got bored today since I don't work on Saturdays. So I took the Z to my buddy's shop to install the test pipes and the pop charger.

Old & stinky gutted OEM cats out LOL

Topspeed test pipes in
The fitment was spot on on these test pipes with the Borla catback and OEM headers

Pop charger in, love how it sounds.

That ***!

I'll try to take a vid of the exhaust note too. It sounds like a E46 M3 with Gruppe-M exhaust LOL
