I did take them for a drive.
actually not drive. but I let'em hear what I was saying.
and all they told me was.. they'll call nissan headquater and...
get the respond then let me know whats going on.
and next day, they are telling me it's normal.
also telling me to push the gas little harder. WTF???

I had a 2001 Prelude, and had a great service with honda.
puhaha what if i take my Z to Honda service? hahahahaha

my last car was a benz and it had a starter problem

sometime it won't start

but it does not happened all the time so it was kind of hard to describe to the dealer the sound

so i bought a tape recorder so i can record the sound when it happened and let the mechanic listen to it

it helped alot rather than trying to describe the sound, u can let them listen to it on the tape recorder

try that

hey, can I go tell my service manager that...
the noise is coming from heatsheild and exaust..
and tell'em to check if any bolts are losen up?
do u think they would be able to pick up the problem~?

I called NNA, and told every single detail.

and tomorrow, Im going to dealership to test drive new 04 Z.

If other 04's make same kind of noise .. then what should i do?

yeah, NNA said that..
they are sorry for incovinience...
and they will called and make an appointment with other dealer near me.
and they will also called the serive department that i went to.

but the funny thing is.. NNA never got a note from service about my Z. hmm.. i wonder how did that happened.. they said they talked to nissan headquater and told me that my car was find..

do you think its the way i drive my Z??
for example.. if im lettin the clutch go too fast or not enough gas??

guess what happened?
after i called the NNA, i visited dealer that i had trouble with.
and he was fired!
wow, i didnt know NNA has so much power...
hope it get fixed this time.

He was fired? Shesh, I would be careful leaving your car at that dealership incase he comes back around. I'd imagine he is pretty pissed off.

For the record, neither my 6 spd enthusiast roadster built in July nor my auto touring roadster made any such noises, ever.
