Apparently you know better than the engineers who built the car since it says in the manual to use premium only.

seriously, when i go to a station and the clerk is like 'regular?' and i respond NO, 91. they act all confused, which actually makes me feel that much better for driving a z over other POS's lol.
so dude its like 100$ more per YEAR to buy the good stuff every time. i will spend 100 right now to get 5 hp and give my fuel filters 5x the life.

The universe will spontaneously implode. For the sake of mankind, sell your Z immediately.

When I bought my car I asked the salesman if the price included a full tank of gas, they filled it with regular It will knock heavily when under a load, continued knocking will destroy the engine. I turned around and pulled into the service lane, told the service advisor that the salesman filled the car with regular, they fixed it.

You can afford an 08 350z but not an extra 30 cents a gallon? Something is wrong here.

Probably an '08 base with high miles, Plasti-dipped wheels, and tinted tail lights.

Lets just say this

20 gallon tank * 20 mpg = 400 miles per tank
400 miles per tank / 12,000 avg miles per year = 30 fill ups a year
20 gallons * .20 cents extra cost per premium = $4 per fill up
$4 extra per fill up * 30 fill ups a year = $120 cost extra per year for premium
$120 / 365 day = .32 cents per day extra to drive on premium

Spend the 32 cents and drive your car the way it was designed to be.

This has been covered before..numerous times haha. It's really kind of a choice I guess. Some people say they've used regular and it runs fine..some people say its the worst thing for your car. A little perspective...I know for a fact that my (2008) Z ran regular unleaded gas from the day it was on the showroom floor until I bought it last summer. It's had absolutely no problems besides a window motor had to be replaced once.

My advice, don't take the gamble. If you have a Z, put premium in it and be done. The car is meant to run premium and that is all I use in it. It'll only cost ya a few more dollars every tank.

Is this dude for real? Bro, trade your car for someone with a moped. You will get MPG and can use **** fuel. Dont by a higher performance vehicle if your not willing to keep up on it.

I accidently put regular in one morning and my engine sounded like it was about to fall to pieces. I say go for it, ruin your engine.
